1.      £3,000 to Orcadia Creative Learning Centre for a tipi and accessories to provide another room outside which can be used for various activities. All the children suffer from learning difficulties of varying degrees.

2.      £360 to Broomhall playgroup for necessary covers for radiators from a safety point of view.

3.      £276 to Harrison Playgroup for a portable sink for hygienic reasons.

4.      £2,700 to Hopscotch to give very deprived and abused children a week’s holiday in their respite centre in the West Highlands.

5.      £2,400 to Youth Vision towards restoring their base to a safe working structure and training the participants to develop traditional skills. The youth group are struggling with formal education.

6.      £3,000 for Dadswork for their annual trip to Lagganlea Outdoor Education Centre for single fathers and their children to promote bonding and enjoy an adventure holiday.

7.   £1,719 for Canongate Youth Project to purchase a Macbook pro laptopand logic music software package so that they can take their product to the classroom.

8.      £1,900 for Liberton After School Club to fund their Easter “Fit and Fun” project so that children are still being cared for whilst parents are at work during the holidays.

9.      £2,700 to Fairbridge Scotland to fund 2 young people on the Access course which enables them to make positive steps towards a settled future.

10.   £3,000 to Down’s Syndrome Scotland to fund the weekly communication therapy groups. This will help 26 children between the ages of 2 and 14 years.

11.   £600 to Balgreen Playgroup to fund soft play equipment and art supplies.

12.  £2,421 to Morningside Montessori PTA for the creation of a sensory garden including bird chimes, bridge, xylophone, stepping stones and plants.

13.  £2,174 to North Edinburgh Childcare to fence off the outdoor play area into two sections for the safety of the youngest age group.
